What is FlexiRoam?

FlexiRoam is a service that allows you to make and receive unlimited international roaming calls on your mobile while overseas for FREE or a flat rate per day.

What do you need?

You will need a FLEXIROAM Roaming pass for the duration of your travel. You will also need to purchase an overseas SIM when you arrive at your destination and an active mobile phone line from your home country with call forwarding functionality.

How does it work?

  • Connect your number to the FlexiRoam gateway

    First, you forward your calls to FlexiRoam with your home country SIM. Detailed instructions on how to do this will be available to you once you purchase a pass.

  • Switch to an overseas local SIM card when you arrive & send text

    Send us a text so that we can direct all your calls to this phone. When you receive a call on your mobile, it will ring the overseas number. This way you do not get charged for roaming at all. Only local charges apply.

  • Make & receive unlimited calls while overseas

    Once connected, you will be able to make and receive unlimited calls to and from home.

Why do I need a overseas prepaid SIM card?

Making calls and receiving calls from your home local mobile while roaming overseas is very expensive. Using an overseas local SIM card at your destination will allow you to save on call costs.

Our service forwards your local mobile phone calls to you while you are overseas so that you will not have to miss a call! It is also cheaper for you to use the overseas prepaid SIM to call foreign partners and even calling back home.

Where can I purchase a overseas SIM card?

Most airports and convenience stores sell prepaid SIM cards so you’ll be able to find and purchase one with ease when you arrive at your destination.

Am I charged when I forward my calls to FlexiRoam?

When you forward your calls to the FlexiRoam, you will be charged a local call charge at your mobile operator rates. The charges are similar to your mobile calling a regular landline number.

For example, if you receive a 5 min call in China, you will be charged 5 x 10cents (or cheaper depending on your plan) on your mobile operator bill.

Not all users are subjected to this fee. If your current call plan allocates Free local call minutes, these charges would be waived on your bill.
